Job Description

Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a comprehensive open ICU setting, which includes medical, surgical, CVICU, and neuroICU units. You will be responsible for providing critical care to a diverse patient population, including the potential for pediatric patients when helicopter transport is unavailable. The ICU consists of a 14-bed unit and a 12-bed unit, with patient placement based on bed availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a fast-paced ICU environment, adhering to established protocols and standards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Float to CVCU (Cardiovascular Care Unit) and ED (Emergency Department) as necessary, maintaining appropriate patient ratios.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure timely documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• PALS (AHA) certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
