Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients. The role supports a 8:00am–4:30pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with a sign-on bonus and opportunities for growth within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The nurse will work within established policies, ensuring quality care and professional accountability across the care team. Experience is preferred but new graduates are eligible to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license required.
• BCLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible; no experience required.

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Education

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
