Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta seeks a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. The role requires utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring the highest standards of practice.

The ideal candidate is a graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing. No experience is needed, as new graduates are welcome. Current RN licensure in Georgia and Basic Life Support certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Current license in Georgia as a Registered Nurse required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
