AdventHealth in Tampa is seeking an experienced RN to provide bedside nursing during the night shift. You will perform comprehensive assessments, create and adjust care plans, and administer medications with safety and accuracy.

The role requires strong critical care skills, excellent communication, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a supportive environment for families.

Formación

• RN license in good standing.
• Experience in critical care or acute care settings preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.


• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.


• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.


• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.


• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.


• Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).


• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.


• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.


• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.


• Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.

• Previous experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record [Preferred]


• Previous EKG Interpretation Class [Preferred]


• EPIC [Preferred]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
