Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking passionate, experienced Registered Nurses to join the Wellstar Enterprise Support Team (WEST) Float Pool. This is a dynamic, high-impact opportunity to bring your skills where they're needed most across multiple Wellstar facilities.

As a WEST Float RN, you'll float between units, expand your clinical expertise, and work with diverse teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on RN experience in a clinical setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or diploma from accredited program.
• Active RN license (compact or single-state) and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Manage complex clinical situations with critical thinking.
• Administer medications safely and accurately per sterile techniques.
• Educate and empower patients and families.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver high-quality care across facilities.

What You’ll Do

You’ll bring expert, compassionate care to postpartum and newborn patients â€" and so much more. As a WEST Float RN, you’ll:

• Use the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide evidence-based, individualized care.
• Manage complex clinical situations with confidence and critical thinking.
• Administer medications safely and accurately, always adhering to sterile techniques.
• Partner with patients and families to educate, advocate, and empower.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care across the system.

What You’ll Need to Bring

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a diploma from an accredited nursing program required.

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN License (compact or single-state) required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications â€" required and ready to roll!

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on RN experience in a relevant clinical setting

Skills:

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and customer service chops
• Quick on your feet and calm under pressure
• Organized, thoughtful, and a total team player
