Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Float Pool Unit. The RN will be responsible for applying the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervising other staff, and coordinating care for a group of patients in partnership with the health care team.

Candidates must hold a WV RN license, maintain CEUs, and keep CPR current. The position reports to the Nurse Manager, with shifts determined by the hiring manager.

The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated.

Candidates interviewed for this role will be asked to present proof of required degrees, certificates and/or certifications at the time of the interview. Candidates unwilling or unable to provide said documentation will not be considered.

Position reports directly to the Nurse Manager. The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.
