Responsibilities

  • Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care.
  • Monitor critically ill and unstable patients and provide care.
  • Manage life-support systems and monitor cardiovascular status.
  • Participate in rapid response and emergency situations.
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals on care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Job description

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Roseburg, OR area for the following position: RN - Critical Care. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.

Qualifications
  • ADN or higher degree in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Ability to function effectively under stress
  • Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skill
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
  • Rapidly assess a patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
  • Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
  • Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
  • Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
  • Administer medications and other treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about the patient\'s condition and care plan
