Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for correctional health with a 12-hour shift. The role involves comprehensive nursing assessments, care plans, medication administration, emergencies, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a secure setting.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license (state or compact with NC eligibility), CPR/BLS, and prefer acute or correctional care experience. Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Respond to medical emergencies, triage patient needs, and provide critical interventions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and the health team to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and support LPNs and nursing staff; maintain confidentiality of records.

RN - Correctional Health

Shift: 12 Hours

Description:

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.Administer medications, treatments, and medical procedures in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.Respond promptly to medical emergencies, triage patient needs, and provide critical interventions.Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment.Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants, and other staff as appropriate.Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.Educate patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare practices.Adhere to infection control, safety, and security protocols within the correctional environment.

Qualifications:
