Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and adult patients around Mansfield, Ohio. The role offers competitive pay, weekly paychecks, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include planning and evaluating patient care, initiating and adjusting plans, nursing actions, administering medications, and documenting interventions. Ohio RN license and BLS are required, with preference for 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Ohio.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current Hands-On BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home settings.
• Initiates plan of care and revises as patient status changes.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes in response to patient condition changes and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and identifies education and discharge planning needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention.
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable.

Requirements
