Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care in the JO7C Complex Intervention Unit (General Care). You will support patient education, transitions of care and leadership activities while providing high-quality care on a 10-bed unit designed for adults with complex needs.

The RN will work within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, using evidence-based approaches and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; RN license.
• One year RN experience required.
• Proven communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends.
• Current RN license; BLS valid within 90 days and other state certs as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient education.
• Support transitions of care across settings.
• Lead through preceptor role and quality improvement efforts.
• Provide care for adult patients with complex medical/surgical and behavioral health needs.
