Job summary

Hillsboro Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, with consideration for aging, development stages and cultural diversity. The RN will collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and outcomes.

Schedule includes weekends and holidays, with responsibilities across monitored/medical/surgical units and adherence to hospital policy and Illinois Nurse

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Ability to pass specific competencies for this position.
• Proficient oral and written communication.
• 1-year general hospital experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care according to the standards of care defined within the Illinois Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and outcomes.
• Communicates patient status and end-of-shift updates with the team.
• Maintains confidentiality of all patient information and hospital data.
• Promotes a therapeutic relationship with patients and families.
