Family Service League is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the ACT program in Bay Shore, NY. The role includes medication management, health screenings, and nursing oversight for a multidisciplinary team providing behavioral health services to adults with serious mental illness.

The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call coverage in evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current NY RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Proficient with computer skills and EMR; MS Office experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage medication delivery and administration under the Psychiatrist.
• Provide medication management and coordination, including injectables in the community.
• Implement health screenings and assessments.
• Oversee nursing/health activities for the program under supervision.
• Complete progress notes and maintain EMR data.
• Collaborate with non-medical staff on client health issues.
• Educate staff on medication procedures and secure records.
• Develop treatment and recovery plans with person-centered focus.
• Provide on-call crisis intervention during evenings/weekends on rotation.
• Maintain ACT training and perform other duties as assigned.
