Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiac Neuro ICU on a part-time basis (24 hours/week). The day shift runs 7:00am to 7:30pm with rotating weekends. Requires 5 years of RN critical care experience and a relevant nursing degree with current IL licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required or higher.
• 5 years of RN critical care experience is required.
• Illinois RN licensure and ACLS within six months of start date.
• Current CPR (AHA BLS) CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per Illinois Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and collaborate with the unit team.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will need

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience

• Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing

Required Education, Skills and/or Experience

• 5 years of RN critical care experience
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Required License and/or Certification

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association BLS
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of start date into position

What you will do

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
