Job summary

NHC HealthCare Fort Oglethorpe is seeking a full-time CNA instructor to train aspiring nursing assistants. The RN will teach CNAs, guide them through theory and clinical skills, and help students prepare for the Georgia state licensing exam.

Qualifications

Active RN license required; Georgia license preferred.
Clinical nursing experience in long-term or skilled care settings.

Prepare and deliver CNA training lessons and materials.
Guide students through skill development and clinical competencies.
Assess student progress and help them prepare for state licensing exam.

NHC Fort Oglethorpe is in need of an RN to train new nursing assistants for our classes!

The qualified Nurse for this position will be responsible for teaching Certified Nursing Assistants. The instructor will help CNA students build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing state licensing exam and applying those skills in caring for our patients. RN applicants who possess clinical experience, a thorough knowledge of long term and skilled care are encouraged to apply. Education experience would be ideal, but not required.
