Job summary

NHC Healthcare Fort Oglethorpe is seeking a CNA Instructor for evening classes. The RN or LPN selected will train new nursing assistants, focusing on knowledge and clinical skills to pass state licensing exams and provide quality patient care.

Experience in long‑term and skilled care is highly valued, education experience is ideal but not required. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with benefits, located in Fort Oglethorpe, GA.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN with clinical experience in long‑term/skilled care.
• Experience teaching or training is a plus but not required.
• Strong knowledge of CNA roles and state licensing exams.

Responsibilities

• Teach CNAs in evening classes.
• Help students build foundational knowledge and clinical skills for exams.
• Deliver instruction consistent with facility policies and patient care standards.

NHC Fort Oglethorpe is in need of an RN to train new nursing assistants for our evening classes. The qualified Nurse for this position will be responsible for teaching Certified Nursing Assistants. The instructor will help CNA students build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing state licensing exams and applying those skills in caring for our patients. RN or LPN applicants who possess clinical experience and a thorough knowledge of long‑term and skilled care are encouraged to apply. Education experience would be ideal, but not required.
