Job summary

Harris Health System is hiring a Nurse Clinician II (NCII) to provide direct patient care in the designated clinical area, following Texas Nursing Practice Act standards. The NCII will independently manage common patient problems, recognizing when to seek guidance and resources, while maintaining high quality, safe care.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas, BLS certification, at least 1 year of full-time RN experience, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas; Basic Life Support (AHA) required.
• 1 year of full-time RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently and safely manages patients in the assigned clinical area per standards and protocols.
• Adheres to Texas Nursing Practice Act and Nursing Service policies; seeks assistance when needed.
