Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Diploma in Nursing; graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse; Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or Red Cross approved program.

Responsibilities

• Meet standards per Texas Nursing Practice Act and HCHD Nursing Service.
• Independently and safely manage patients with common problems in assigned clinical area.
• Recognize when assistance is needed and seek appropriate resources.
