Emory Healthcare seeks an experienced RN Clinician for its facility-based/OU float pool in Georgia. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered nursing care across multiple departments, adapting to varied clinical areas, and advocating for patients and families.

The RN uses AACN Synergy Model knowledge to personalize care and collaborates with the care team. Opportunities include professional growth, mentorship, and leadership exposure within Emory’s system.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in GA; BSN required or ADN with 2 years' recent experience
• 12 months of nursing experience in the past five years, OR recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
• ACLS/BLS certifications may be required by department
• Ability to work in varied clinical areas within float pool

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, effective, and independent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and analyzes the impact of care on outcomes.
• Develops and implements patient care plans with patient/family input.
• Documents care accurately in electronic and physical records.
• Identifies patient/family learning needs and provides resources.
• Respects cultural differences and individualizes care accordingly.
• Delegates appropriately using the Synergy Model of Care.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and family care partners.
• Assists in orienting staff and students when needed.
• Demonstrates strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Identifies needs for policy revisions based on evidence-based research.
• Engages in professional growth and applies the Synergy Model in practice.
• Collects and analyzes data to improve patient care and meet standards.
• Participates in surveys/interviews to identify improvement areas.
• Maintains required points and contact hours in the PLAN lattice system.
