Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Colorado is seeking an experienced Full-Time Nurse Clinician to join our SE Division. The role may travel to Aurora, Centennial, Englewood or Littleton and includes mileage reimbursement.

As an Oncology RN Clinician you will deliver coordinated, compassionate care in a collaborative oncology environment, supporting patients through their treatment journeys and liaising with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education.
  • Minimum two years nursing experience required.
  • OCN certification eligible for incentive pay after 90 days or upon certification.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care with internal and outside entities.
  • Triage patient calls regarding treatment and symptom management.
  • Oversees patient compliance and adherence to oral chemotherapy regimens.
  • Assist in patient education and follow up after initial chemotherapy regimens.
  • Assist physicians with IKM chemotherapy regimens.
  • Manage electronic and call-in prescriptions and narcotic/chemo refill requests.
  • Liaise between infusion suite and physicians/mid-level providers.

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full-Time Nurse Clinician in our SE Division. This position my travel to Aurora, Centennial, Englewood or Littleton. This position is approved for mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities
  • Coordination of patient care with both internal and outside entities
  • Triage patient calls regarding treatment and symptom management
  • Oversees patient compliance and adherence to oral chemotherapy regimens
  • Assists in patient education and follow up after initial chemotherapy regimens
  • Assists physicians with IKM chemotherapy regimens
  • Manages electronic and call in prescriptions and management of narcotic and chemotherapy refill requests
  • Assists with calling patients lab results and scan as needed
  • Assists the MA staff with disability and FMLA paperwork
  • Acts as a liaison between physician outside resources
  • Acts a liaison between the infusion suite and the physicians/mid-level providers

Salary Range: $36.00-46.00

Physical demands of this job typically require full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination in operation and manipulation of complex laboratory equipment. Requires sitting/standing for extensive periods of time with the use hands to finger, handle, or feel and arms to reach or carry. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision, color perception and hearing to normal range. Requires legible handwriting.
