Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking a Nurse Clinician for our Denver clinic to provide comprehensive cancer care. This full‑time position involves coordinating patient care, triaging treatment and symptom calls, and supporting chemotherapy regimens under physician supervision.

The role emphasizes patient education, compliance monitoring, and collaboration with internal and external teams in a busy oncology setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care with internal and outside entities
  • Triage patient calls regarding treatment and symptom management
  • Oversee patient compliance and adherence to oral chemotherapy regimens
  • Assist in patient education and follow‑up after initial chemotherapy regimens
  • Assist physicians with IKM chemotherapy regimens
  • Manage electronic and call‑in prescriptions and narcotic & chemotherapy refill requests
  • Call patients for lab results and scans as needed
  • Assist MA staff with disability and FMLA paperwork
  • Act as a liaison between physician outside resources
  • Act as a liaison between the infusion suite and the physicians/mid‑level providers

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced full‑time Nurse Clinician in our Denver (Rose Medical Center Campus) clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care with internal and outside entities
  • Triage patient calls regarding treatment and symptom management
  • Oversee patient compliance and adherence to oral chemotherapy regimens
  • Assist in patient education and follow‑up after initial chemotherapy regimens

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $36.00–45.00 per hour. Pay is based on education, work experience, certification, and other factors. Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience

Nurses with OCN certification are eligible for OCN Incentive Pay after 90 days of employment or upon obtaining certification.

Physical Demands

Essential functions require full range of motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination with complex laboratory equipment. Requires sitting/standing for extended periods, using hands, fingers, and arms, occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision, color perception, hearing, legible handwriting.
