Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Team Leader to perform direct patient care as the charge nurse and to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. The role requires a BSN and Texas RN license, with charge nurse training completed within 90 days if externally hired.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN.
• Current Texas RN license or compact license.
• Completion of charge nurse training within 90 days if external hire.
• Certifications: BLS/ACLS/PALS as required for RN area; advanced certs within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provides front line leadership and decision-making for departmental staff.
• Develops staffing plans based on patient acuity and care needs.
• Monitors workflow and adjusts staffing to meet unit goals.
• Coordinates patient flow and timely admissions/discharges.
• Supports quality, patient experience, and performance metrics.
• Participates in peer interviews and investigations.
