Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis seeks an RN Clinical Supervisor – Inpatient Med/Surg East to lead patient care delivery, coordinate staffing, and collaborate with physicians and staff to improve processes.

This full-time role requires active RN license in Missouri and 2–3 years of direct patient care experience. You will model professional standards, mentor teammates, and ensure safe, quality care while meeting productivity and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license or temporary permit in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care experience.
• Active BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.

Experience:

• Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.


• Experience in a Med/Surg setting is highly desirable.
