Job summary

MLK Community Hospital seeks a compassionate RN Clinical Staff nurse for our Med/Surg/Tele unit. This full-time role provides direct bedside care on a busy 3rd-floor telemetry/medical-surgical unit, including assessment, medication administration, cardiac/tele monitoring, wound care, and discharge teaching.

You will collaborate closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to deliver culturally competent, evidence-based care to adult patients, many from historically underserved

Responsibilities

• Direct bedside care on a busy telemetry/Med/Surg unit.
• Perform assessments and administer medications.
• Provide cardiac/telemetry monitoring and wound care.
• Deliver discharge teaching to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team.
• Support quality, safety and patient experience goals.
