Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for the Clinical Resource Unit (CRU). The CRU is a versatile team delivering care across inpatient units to meet changing patient volumes and acuity.

This 24-hour-per-week role includes PT Nights with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays. As an RN in CRU, you will coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care following the nursing process, using evidence-based practice to ensure safety and high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where practicing.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to maintain a safe patient environment and positive experience across the continuum.

Skills

BLS certification

RN experience preferred

CNA experience helpful
