Job summary

Emvenio Research, Inc. is seeking a Certified Mobile Research Nurse (CMRN) on a per diem/PRN basis in Connecticut. The RN will schedule and complete mobile visits for study participants, coordinating with project managers and site personnel to ensure accurate source documentation.

The role focuses on adult and geriatric patients (45–75) with Alzheimer's disease, performing specimen collection, medication review, and wound checks, with morning-focused visits and remote/video support as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as RN
• 2 years phlebotomy/IVs/injections experience (last practice within 6 months preferred)
• 1 year collecting vitals, ECG, urine samples, and pregnancy tests
• Current, unrestricted RN license in state(s) of practice
• Skilled in accurate patient records and medication charting
• Current CPR certification
• Current TB test

Responsibilities

• Set appointments within visitation windows to complete mobile visits.
• Perform visits with adult and geriatric population (45–75) with Alzheimer's.
• Conduct blood/urine specimen collection and processing, medication review, staple removal, wound checks via video as needed.
• Document medical history and medication data accurately and submit source documentation.
• Work mornings as visits are scheduled.

Make a Difference on Your Own Schedule and Terms! The Certified Mobile Research Nurse is a Registered Nursing per diem/PRN position for EmVenio. An EmVenio CMRN is responsible for setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants. You’ll work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.

Skills

We are looking for CMRNs to do visits with the Adult and Geriatric population (45 to 75 years of age) with Alzheimer's who can perform the following skills during a mobile visit:

• Blood and urine specimen collection and processing
• IS medication review
• staple removal
• wound check with video conferencing with Site PI or surgeon
• concomitant medications
• Visits will need to be completed in the morning hours

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred)
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice
• Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records including documentation of medical history and medication charting
• Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must have and maintain a current CPR certification
• Must have and maintain a current TB Test

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• An Active Driver's License with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair
• An ability to speak other languages

Standard Rate: $60.00 Hourly plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
