Job summary

EmVenio is seeking a Certified Mobile Research Nurse (per diem) to schedule and conduct mobile visits for study participants. You will coordinate with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site staff to complete visits and submit proper source documentation, including blood draws and vital signs.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR, TB testing, and experience in phlebotomy, IVs, injections, and urine testing. Visits occur M-W during 8am-6pm and pay $55/hour plus additional allowances.

Qualifications

• Two years RN experience.
• Two years' phlebotomy/IV/subcutaneous injection experience (most recent)
• One year experience collecting vitals, ECG, urine samples, and urine pregnancy tests
• Current, unrestricted RN license in state(s) of practice
• Skilled in accurate medical records/documentation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Current CPR certification
• Current TB test

The Certified Mobile Research Nurse is a Registered Nursing per diem/PRN position for EmVenio. An EmVenio CMRN is responsible for setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants. You’ll work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.

Skills

We are looking for CMRNs to do visits with a population consisting of Adults who have ALS. The RN would need to perform the following skills during a mobile visit:

• Blood specimen collection (draw between 6-7 vials of blood) and processing (nurse will pick up dry ice prior to the visit and drop off at UPS after the visit)
• Visits are to be completed M-W during standard business hours (8am-6pm)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred)
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice
• Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records including documentation of medical history and medication charting
• Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must have and maintain a current CPR certification
• Must have and maintain a current TB Test

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• An Active Driver's License with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair
• An ability to speak other languages

Standard Rate: $55.00 Hourly plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
