Job summary

Professional Case Management (PCM) is seeking a Certified Mobile Research Nurse for per diem/mobile visits in the CT area. The RN will schedule and complete visits with adults, including those with Alzheimer’s, and collaborate with project managers and site staff to ensure proper documentation.

This role involves phlebotomy, IVs, ECG, and vital signs collection during visits, with typical M-W visiting hours. CPR and TB testing are required and must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice.
• 2+ years RN experience; phlebotomy/IVs; last practice within 6 months preferred.
• 1 year experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and urine pregnancy tests.
• CPR certification current.
• TB test current.

Responsibilities

Certified Mobile Research Nurse

The Certified Mobile Research Nurse is a Registered Nursing per diem/PRN position for EmVenio. An EmVenio CMRN is responsible for setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants. You’ll work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.

You’ll do visits with the Adult population with Alzheimer’s who can perform the following skills during a mobile visit: Blood specimen collection and processing (nurse will pick up dry ice prior to the visit and drop off at UPS after the visit) Visits are to be completed M-W during standard business hours.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years’ experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred)
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice
• Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records including documentation of medical history and medication charting
• Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must have and maintain a current CPR certification
• Must have and maintain a current TB Test

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• An Active Driver's License with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair
• An ability to speak other languages

Standard Rate: $60.00 Hourly plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
