Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• RN with Illinois licensure required.
• Strong analytical, communication, computer, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical services and quality initiatives.
• Conducts unit-based rounding with leadership to observe practice, provide coaching, and reinforce standard work at the point of care.
• Facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration to design, deploy, and monitor quality improvement projects to promote best practices and high reliability.
• Partners with unit leadership to establish sustainment plans so improvements are owned by unit teams after initial period.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports data related to performance and project goals to improve efficiency, compliance, and documentation.
• Partners with stakeholders to standardize evidence-based practices and ensure consistency across Ingalls Memorial Hospital and UChicago Medicine network.
• Ensures timely submission of quality data to databases for benchmarking and regulatory compliance and presents performance reports to leadership.
• Summarizes data trends to guide improvements in nurse-sensitive indicators and patient safety outcomes.
