Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Stepdown ICU to lead patient-centered care and coordinate nursing functions with the unit leadership. The CNC will monitor care quality and serve as a resource for staff, ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

The role requires RN licensure with acute stepdown/PCU/Telemetry experience and BLS certification, plus a Bachelor’s degree or RN Diploma.

• BLS certification is required.
• RN licensure is required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• RN Acute Stepdown/ PCU/Telemetry experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support BLS
• (RN) Registered Nurse licensure
• Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
