• Leads interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriate care and smooth transitions.
• Applies the nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Demonstrates initiative to improve clinical practice within the specialty area.
• Communicates clearly with physicians, APPs, patients and families; supports safety and quality initiatives.
• Supports shared governance and quality improvement activities on the unit.
