Job summary

Spurwink is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Coordinator in Lewiston, Maine. This role partners with the Director of Nursing to mentor nurses and CNAs, oversee clinical skills development, and provide hands-on teaching in a homelike environment.

The Clinical Coordinator will balance clinical care with administrative duties, conduct care-quality audits, ensure accurate documentation, and promote safety and compassionate care for

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Maine.
• Skilled nursing experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Clinical skills include straight catheterization, G-tube care, Ostomy/Colostomy care, Phlebotomy, and IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Collaborate with the DON to oversee clinical skills and hands-on teaching initiatives.
• Work with nurses and CNAs to reinforce proper techniques and best practices.
• Provide hands-on instruction and clinical education during care delivery.
• Support onboarding and ongoing skills development.
• Conduct audits of medical records and MAR.
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards and accurate documentation.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and homelike environment for clients.
