Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an RN Clinical Education Specialist to provide education across ambulatory services, including Banner Medical Group, Banner University Medical Group in Phoenix and Tucson, Banner Imaging, Banner Urgent Care, and Occupational Health. The role is hybrid with work-from-home when not traveling; regular meetings in Mesa and travel to other areas are required.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and the candidate will develop curriculum and provide leadership

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice; BLS certification.
• 3–5 years work experience in specialty area or related field, or similar experience as an education coordinator/instructor in healthcare environment.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and computer technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver clinical education programs for clinicians and staff.
• Assess learning needs and identify ongoing staff development needs.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness using feedback, testing and skills assessments.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing clinical competencies across facilities.
• Collaborate with leadership and departments to standardize education programs.
