Job summary

Brookhaven Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse with strong leadership to serve as Clinical Director, guiding a multidisciplinary team including RNs, Aides, Social Workers, and Chaplains. You will collaborate with the Program Director and Hospice Physician to ensure clinical excellence and compliance with guidelines.

The role emphasizes team empowerment, quality assurance, and ongoing staff development, with a comprehensive benefits package and sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Registered Nurse with a current state license to practice.
• At least 3 years as a nurse with hospice/home health/oncology exposure.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in hospice or home health care preferred.
• Strong crisis, pain, and symptom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee a spectrum of patient services in line with hospice policies.
• Provide guidance and support to a team of clinicians.
• Conduct chart audits to ensure regulatory and ethical compliance.
• Develop orientation and in-service training for nursing staff.
• Evaluate and uplift clinical staff performance during probation and annually.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to refine Care Plans.
