Job summary

Tanner Health in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform nursing functions, assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes, while supervising RNs, LPNs and other assistive personnel according to the state nurse practice act.

Candidates must hold a Georgia RN license (or multi-state license) and CPR certification, with ACLS/NRP/PALS prerequisites for certain units; Willowbrooke SCIPP requirement within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license or multistate license required.
• CPR certification required; must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and supervise other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel as needed.
• Assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
