Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator to support the department director by coordinating clinical activities and serving as a clinical resource and role model.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, high-quality care delivery, and effective communication with physicians and the patient care team. A Registered Nurse with leadership potential and commitment to ethical practice is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or by endorsement
• One (1) year of clinical RN experience
• RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Nursing Specialty Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
• Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
• Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care. Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.

As our RN Clinical Coordinator, you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model.

Every day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards.
