Job summary

Henry Ford Health seeks an experienced registered nurse to lead coordination and delivery of high-quality patient care. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while supervising and educating patients and families.

Role requires strong communication with the care team, ongoing clinical competence, and the ability to work independently within Michigan regulations and hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test.
• Certification required when regulatory or community standard; ACLS or OCN.
• Maintains current clinical knowledge and ability to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
• Preferred experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
