Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver general nursing care in our clinic setting in Des Moines, IA. You will work under the Clinics Administrator and Clinic Supervisor, coordinating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice.

The role requires an active IA RN license, BLS certification, and orientation completion.

Qualifications

• Current RN license recognized by the Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing care in accordance with Iowa Board regulations and practices.
• Successful demonstration of Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider).
• Completion of Clinical Services orientation and unit-specific training.
• Team-based approach to patient care and effective communication.
• Familiarity with computer usage and health IT systems.

The purpose of this position is to provide general nursing care and leadership; working collaboratively with physicians and multi-disciplinary team members in maintaining standards for professional nurse practice in a clinic setting. The RN will promote and restore patient's health as they prescribe, provide, delegate, evaluate and coordinates comprehensive professional nursing care through the use of the nursing process for patients of all ages, gender, cultures, and background; provide physical and psycho-social support to patients, friends and families.SCHEDULEFull Time, M-F, 8A-4:30PPERFORMANCE STANDARDS1.
