Qualifications

  • Current CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days.

Job Description

As a Clinic Nurse –Team Lead, leadership skills are necessary in addition to technical skills. Leadership skills should consist of having the ability to train new individuals within their area of supervision for all required functions, work progress, and operations. They should be able to carry out all duties connected to evaluation, competencies. A Clinic Nurse –Team Lead should be able to guide all staff as well as complete all activities described below.

The Clinic Nurse/Call Center is responsible for provision and management of patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. The Clinic Nurse/Call Center delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation and works within codes of practice and professional guidelines. Clinic Nurse/Call Center is responsible for accurately and efficiently triaging the telephone calls that are received from patients, their caregiver, relatives and other members of the healthcare team. This involves prioritizing patients’ health problems according to their urgency, educating/advising patients, scheduling appointments and making safe, effective clinical decisions under the direction of the patients’ physician.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days.
