The Registered Nurse (RN) at Karuk Tribe Health Clinic provides comprehensive nursing services in the Medical Clinic and community settings under the Medical Director. You will collaborate with physicians, NPs, PAs, PHNs, and other professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting AA AH C accreditation efforts.

You will supervise staff, participate in quality improvement, ensure HIPAA compliance, and coordinate care across the lifespan in diverse community locations

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a California RN license.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting.
• Current BLS/CPR certification for adult, child, and infant.
• Ability to obtain PALS and ACLS as required.
• Ability to work with and manage electronic patient records.
• Strong written and verbal communication with problem-solving skills.
• HIPAA confidentiality adherence.
• Immunization and CDC vaccination/testing requirements per guidelines.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by Tribe's carrier.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks including FBI fingerprints.

Responsabilités

• Provides comprehensive nursing services in clinic and community settings.
• Supervises nursing staff, medical assistants and other personnel.
• Participates in quality improvement and accreditation activities (AAAHC).
• Delivers direct patient care, staff education, and care coordination.
• Coordinates with physicians and other professionals to develop treatment plans.
• Ensures staffing levels and workload meet patient needs.
• Maintains documentation via EHR and generates required reports.
• Provides outreach and healthcare services in community locations within the Tribes service area.
