HCA Florida Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the CV Noninvasive Clinic.

The CNC ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates nursing functions during the shift, guiding staff and resources to support exceptional outcomes. • 1 year experience in Cardiac ICU or Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, evaluates, and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the CV Noninvasive Clinic during the shift.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver care.
• Directs care assignments using established policies/procedures; assists with admission and discharge processes.
• Participates in ongoing quality assessment of patient care services in the unit, with management team.
• Ensures compliance with evidence-based practices that enhance patient experience and customer service.

Associate Degree / Bachelor's Degree

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the CV Noninvasive Clinicduring the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

Exercises judgement and provides direction regarding patient care assignments using established policies/procedures.

Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.

Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.

Ensures compliance with evidence-based practices that enhance patient experience and customer service.

Functions as a resource person for staff members. Provides coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• No Travel Required
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experiencein Cardiac ICU or Cardiac Cath Lab required
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred
