Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse - Circulator to join our ambulatory surgical center team. The RN Circulator provides nursing care during procedures, serving as the liaison between the OR and the rest of the center to ensure patient safety and smooth operations.

The role requires current RN licensure, CPR and ACLS, and prior OR experience. You will scrub and circulating duties, prepare rooms and assist physicians with hemostasis, suturing and patient positioning, contributing to

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing. Active RN license.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum one year in the OR; scrub and circulate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.
• Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
• Directly assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.
• Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
