Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within organizational policies and procedures.

The role requires a Georgia RN license (or NLC) and BLS certification. New graduates are eligible; BSN and advanced specialty certifications are a plus. Hospital experience is preferred, and PRN positions may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
