Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care within a Wisconsin correctional facility. The RN will assess patients, administer medications, respond to emergencies, and support health and safety of the patient population.

Candidate must hold an active RN license in good standing and CPR/BLS certification, with ability to work in a secure environment. Prior experience in correctional, emergency, or medical-surgical settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a secure correctional environment.
• Prior correctional, emergency, medical-surgical, long-term care, or behavioral health nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Assess, triage, and respond to patient health concerns and medical requests.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and per facility policies.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Monitor patients with acute, chronic, and ongoing medical needs.
• Complete, accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Coordinate care with providers, mental health staff, custody staff, and other healthcare team members.
• Assist with sick calls, follow-up appointments, and ongoing patient care needs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and facility guidelines.
• Follow infection control, safety, and security procedures at all times.
