Job summary

Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is hiring a Clinical Nurse to join our patient care team in Los Angeles. You will perform comprehensive screenings, risk assessments, provide patient education, and coordinate care while leveraging technology to streamline processes.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established Hospital/departmental policies and procedures, objectives, Quality Assessment and Improvement Program, legal, safety, environmental, infection control standards, Nurse Practices Act and Patient's Bill of Rights.
• Responsible for the physical assessment of sexual assault and domestic violence victims
• Responsible for the collection, documentation and packaging of forensic evidence for analysis by the Los Angeles City or Los Angeles County Crime Lab
• Responsible for the provision of information and referrals regarding health concerns related to assault and domestic violence
• Provide expert testimony in the area of sexual assault and domestic violence in a court of law
• Interact professionally with local law enforcement officers, County social workers, the City Attorney's Office and the District Attorney's office
