Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing care in a skilled nursing setting. You will observe residents, document changes, and ensure care plans are implemented while administering prescribed medications.

The role requires completion of an RN program and an active Texas RN license in good standing, with experience in a skilled nursing environment preferred. Strong communication with physicians and care teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an RN program at an accredited institution.
• Active Registered Nurse license in Texas in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, document, and report resident condition changes during rounds.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure orders are followed.
• Implement care plans and communicate updates to residents and teams.
• Perform narcotic reconciliation with incoming/outgoing shifts.
• Identify changes in resident condition and take action per policy.
• Oversee aides and supervise daily nursing activities.
• Complete nursing assessments prior to physician calls when needed.
• Discharge residents according to policy and coordinate with families.
