UF Health in The Villages, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a PCU or higher-acuity setting. You will perform nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes under the direction of the Director.

Qualified candidates have graduated from an accredited nursing program, hold a Florida RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications, and demonstrate leadership and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director, the Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN performs nursing assessments, identifies patient needs, develops individualized care plans, implements appropriate interventions, and evaluates patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale

Experience & Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in a PCU or higher-acuity setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Must attend applicable hospital training programs, including New Manager/Supervisor Orientation and Leadership Development courses
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
