Job summary

Regency Health and Rehabilitation in Yorktown, VA is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. You will provide compassionate, individualized nursing care to residents according to each plan of care and collaborate with physicians and other professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes.

This role offers evening/night shifts (7 PM–7 AM, 3 nights per week), competitive pay between $42.00 and $45.00 per hour, and benefits including health coverage, a 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Active Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs).
• Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Explains procedures and treatments ordered to gain patients’ cooperation and allay apprehension.
• Observe vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gauge progress of the patient.
• Maintains patients’ medical records on nursing observations and actions taken.
• Records nursing needs of patients on care plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Observe emotional stability of patients, support progress, and prepare them for discharge.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care to residents.

What you'll do
