Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Oversee daily nursing unit operations including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Develop and implement effective patient care plans with the healthcare team
• Monitor patient outcomes and report improvements to care practices
• Collaborate with medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation for seamless transitions
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff including orientation and development
• Participate in quality improvement and policy development
• Maintain accurate records of patient care including progress notes, discharge summaries, and medication administration

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation

• Collaborate with other departments, including medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation, to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient care

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and medication administration records

Requirements:

• Current RN license to practice in the State of Texas
• Current CPR certification and BLS certification
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
