Sanford Health in Chamberlain, SD, is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for the Chamberlain Medical Center. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care, coordinating patient care, and partnering with physicians and the care team to plan and implement treatment.

The shift is 12 hours with rotating schedules and full-time status. The ideal candidate exhibits empathy, strong communication, time management, and teamwork to deliver compassionate care across all stages of preventive and acute

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with physicians and colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Cares for patients during preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
