Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to join the Chamberlain Medical Center team in Chamberlain, SD. This full-time position (36 hours per week) offers rotating 12-hour shifts and a competitive hourly salary range, with benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with physicians to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise.
